Jesus' teachings throughout the Gospels are crystal clear:
Love God -- and love another.
And in so doing -- we will not only be with God in Heaven one day,
We can experience Paradise on earth right now.

But, it wsn't long before the earliest Christians began the struggle with
The Gospel of Love.
At the end of the First Century,
John the Evangelist reminded them in one of his letters:
"Little children, let us stop saying we love people;
Let us really love them and show it by our actions."
(1 John 3:18)

Yet, here we are, two thousand years after the birth of Jesus,
And we're still trying to redefine Christianity to suit ourselves!

As the renowned British writer GK Chesterton wrote:
"Christianity has not been tried and found wanting:
It's been found difficult and not tried."

The Bee, Honey and Honeycomb have been used
In Art as Christian symbols for centuries:
Honey -- the only food that never spoils, even after thousands of years --
Represents the sweetness and purity of God's work.
The ideal Christian is represented by the industrious Honeybee.
The perfect symetry of the honeycomb represents how
Perfectly harmonious our Christian community would become,
If only we imitated Jesus and loved one another
With the untiring focus of the honeybee!
